Đăng ký bản quyền bài hát nhanh nhất. Với sự phát triển của ngành công nghiệp giải trí đặc biệt là nền âm nhạc hiện nay, số lượng các sáng tác nhạc được tạo ra là tương đối lớn. Cũng như các sáng tác văn học, nghệ thuật hay khoa học khác, để cho ra một bài hát, các nhạc sĩ cũng phải bỏ khá nhiều công sức, tâm huyết và đôi khi là cả tiền bạc.

Vì vậy, bài hát cũng được coi là một tác phẩm nghệ thuật, được thừa nhận là một trong số các tối tượng của quyền tác giả.

Theo quy định của pháp luật Sở hữu trí tuệ, quyền tác giả hoặc quyền sở hữu đối với bài hát sẽ mặc nhiên được xác lập ngay từ khi tác phẩm được định hình. Theo đó, nhạc sĩ hoặc chủ sở hữu bài hát sẽ có các quyền về nhân thân hay tài sản đối với bài hát đó theo quy định của pháp luật. Tuy nhiên, một vấn đề đang đặt ra hiện nay đó là tình trạng các hát bị ăn cắp, đạo lời hoặc đạo nhạc… đang diễn ra khá phổ biến dẫn đến những tranh chấp phát sinh kéo dài để bảo vệ bản quyền cho tác phẩm của mình. Việc bảo vệ này sẽ dễ dàng hơn nếu bài hát đã được đăng ký bản quyền và được cấp giấy chứng nhận, khi đó chủ sở hữu chỉ cần xuất trình giấy tờ này để chứng minh thời điểm tác phẩm được hình thành hay nói đúng hơn là thời điểm quyền của tác phẩm được hình thành.

Vì vậy, để bảo vệ tốt cho bài hát của mình khỏi những hành vi xâm phạm của các chủ thể khác, các nhạc sĩ cần thực hiện thủ tục đăng ký ngay bản quyền bài hát để ghi nhận thời điểm tác phẩm được hình thành. Theo quy định của pháp luật hiện hành, thủ tục đăng ký bản quyền bài hát không quá phức tạp, chỉ mất khoảng thời gian từ 15 đến 20 ngày kể từ thời điểm đăng ký để được cấp giấy chứng nhận quyền tác giả.

Luật Quốc Dân cung cấp dịch vụ hỗ trợ đăng ký bản quyền cho bài hát. Trong đó, tác giả chỉ cần cung cấp một số thông tin đơn giản sau:

–                      Giấy ủy quyền (theo mẫu do Công ty Luật Quốc Dân cung cấp

–                      Mẫu tác phẩm cần đăng ký

–                      Giấy chứng nhận đăng ký kinh doanh
