Để khách hàng tìm đến dịch vụ của mình đòi hỏi các chủ sở hữu phải xây dựng một chiến lược kinh doanh lâu dài, trong đó có việc xây dựng nhãn hiệu.

        Nhãn hiệu chính là một dấu hiệu riêng biệt để phân biệt hàng hóa, dịch vụ. Do đó, muốn xây dựng nhãn hiệu thì trước hết phải đăng ký nhãn hiệu để bảo hộ về lâu về dài. Bảo hộ nhãn hiệu chính là việc chủ thể nộp đơn đăng ký nhãn hiệu cho cơ quan nhà nước có thẩm quyền để xác lập quyền sở hữu công nghiệp đối với nhãn hiệu, khi được cấp văn bằng bảo hộ pháp luật sẽ trao cho chủ sở hữu những độc quyền nhất định trong việc sử dụng, cho phép người khác sử dụng, chuyển nhượng hoặc cấm người khác sử dụng trên toàn lãnh thổ.

       Đăng ký nhãn hiệu là việc làm thiết yếu trong tình hình đất nước hội nhập và đổi mới, là cách thức phòng ngừa rủi ro và là bước đi đúng đắn cho những người hoạt động kinh doanh dịch vụ nhà hàng nói riêng và những người hoạt động kinh doanh thương mại nói chung. Muốn thương hiệu tồn tại vững chắc thì tại sao không đăng ký bảo hộ nhãn hiệu ngay từ bây giờ.

       Thủ tục đăng ký nhãn hiệu cũng rất đơn giản, hồ sơ đăng ký nhãn hiệu bao gồm:

  •          Mẫu nhãn hiệu;
  •          Danh mục sản phẩm, hàng hóa mang nhãn hiệu;
  •           Thông tin người nộp đơn.

       Thời gian để đăng ký nhãn hiệu rơi vào khoảng từ 12-14 tháng, sau khi nộp đơn lên Cục sở hữu trí tuệ. Cục sẽ tiến hành các bước thẩm định khả năng đăng ký của nhãn hiệu bao gồm thẩm định về hình thức và nội dung đơn đăng ký. Những đơn đăng ký thỏa mãn được các yêu cầu về hình thức và nội dung mà không có bất cứ chủ thể nào khiếu nại thì trong khoảng thời gian luật định, sẽ được cấp văn bằng bảo hộ. Bất cứ hành vi xâm phạm trực tiếp hoặc gián tiếp tới nhãn hiệu đã được bảo hộ sẽ bị xử lý theo quy định của pháp luật.
