Tranh chấp về sở hữu công nghiệp, nhãn hiệu hàng hóa, thương hiệu xảy ra không ít tại các nước đang phát triển, trong đó có Việt Nam. Việc này, có thể gây những thiệt hại không nhỏ cho các doanh nghiệp làm ăn chân chính. Thế nhưng hiện nay, các doanh nghiệp vẫn chưa nhận thức đúng về việc đăng ký bảo hộ quyền sở hữu trí tuệ, sở hữu công nghiệp khiến nạn hàng giả, xâm phạm sở hữu trí tuệ vẫn diễn ra phức tạp với nhiều chiêu thức tinh vi.
