Bảo hộ chỉ dẫn địa lý là cách thức để phát triển tài sản sở hữu trí tuệ. Hiện nay, Việt Nam có khoảng 40 sản phẩm được bảo hộ chỉ dẫn địa lý nhưng chủ yếu là nông sản. Những mặt hàng này nổi tiếng với khu vực, địa phương mang sản phẩm đó. Tuy nhiên, việc phát triển tài sản sở hữu trí tuệ này còn kém, các sản phẩm được đánh giá là sản phẩm thô và một số không có giá trị cao.
Nhận thấy việc bảo hộ chỉ dẫn địa lý sẽ góp phần bảo vệ được thương hiệu Việt, đưa thương hiệu nổi tiếng của nước ta vươn tầm quốc tế. Trong hội thảo hội thảo khu vực về “Hiệu quả trong quản lý các sản phẩm chỉ dẫn địa lý được bảo hộ” do Cơ quan Phát triển Pháp (AFD) tại Việt Nam phối hợp cùng Tổ chức Nông nhiệp và Lương thực Liên hiệp quốc (FAO) và Cục Sở hữu trí tuệ của Việt Nam tổ chức vào ngày 23/06/2015 đã nhẫn mạnh vai trò của việc khuyến khích phát triển kinh tế nông thông qua chỉ dẫn địa lý.
Thông qua chỉ dẫn địa lý như một kênh để quảng bá các sản phẩm của Việt Nam đảm bảo nguồn gốc xuất xứ, đặc tính, chất lượng mang lại niềm tin đối với khách hàng. Hội thảo lần này cũng là cơ hội đối với Việt Nam trong việc học hỏi bạn bè trong khu vực ASEAN về ý thức thương hiệu và cách thức quản lý sản phẩm mang chỉ dẫn địa lý. Theo thông tin từ hội thảo này: Dự án “Khuyến khích phát triển nông thôn thông qua phát triển chỉ dẫn địa lý ở cấp khu vực Châu Á” có tổng kinh phí tài trợ 1,5 triệu EUR bởi AFD và do FAO quản lý, được triển khai tại Thái Lan, Lào, Campuchia và Việt Nam. Cục sở hữu trí tuệ Việt Nam sẽ đảm nhận việc triển khai dự án: “Hỗ trợ phát triển chỉ dẫn địa lý ở Việt Nam” với khoản viện trợ không hoàn lại 886.000 EUR” từ AFD cùng với Tổng cục Kho bạc Pháp đồng tài trợ.

I would have smelled the jacket too. I have one of my dad's that I keep in my closet. For years it seemed like it still smelled like him – the faint scent of his pipe, doublemint gum, and our garage. And it always reminds me of him wearing it out in our garage one day. Such a clear visual. Weird, huh?

Hey Kelly!No, the amount of sugar doesn’t impact seizing. It’s the chocolate solids that stick together. Something different is operating when you add water to fatty mixtures: a lack of an emulsion. You need to really apply elbow grease to establish one…if you can. Some mixtures just don’t have the molecular gunk (emulsifiers) in them to keep one going!Thanks for the question!- Joe
