Đăng ký nhãn hiệu ở nước ngoài – Tại sao không? Đăng ký nhãn hiệu ở nước ngoài dường như là điều khá mới mẻ đối với các thương nhân Việt Nam. Thậm chí, nhiều thương nhân Việt dường như không có một chút ý niệm nào đến vấn đề này. Đây là một sai lầm.

Một khi đã làm ăn kinh doanh, đã dấn thân vào thương trường thì mục tiêu phải hướng đến bên cạnh việc xây dựng thương hiệu lớn mạnh thì việc quan trọng cũng không kém đó là mở rộng thị trường. Bạn không thể cứ mãi hoạt động bó hẹp trong một không gian nhỏ với những người tiêu dùng đã trở nên quen thuộc mà phải tìm cách để mở rộng, vươn đến những “chân trời” rộng lớn hơn để kinh doanh sản phẩm, dịch vụ của mình. Những “chân trời rộng lớn” đó, không đâu khác chính là những quốc gia ở bên ngoài kia với những thị trường tiềm năng, hấp dẫn thu hút khá nhiều nhà đầu tư từ các quốc gia khác nhau.

Vâng, mở rộng thị trường cung ứng hàng hóa, dịch vụ của mình ra các quốc gia bên ngoài chính là mong ước, là mục tiêu hướng đến trước mắt hay là chiến lược lâu dài của bất kỳ thương nhân Việt nào. Vậy nhưng, cái vấn đề cốt lõi là đăng ký nhãn hiệu để sử dụng cho hàng hóa, dịch vụ của mình thì lại bị không ít thương nhân Việt thờ ơ mà bỏ qua. Hậu quả của nó là những vụ kiện tụng tranh chấp lâu dài (như nhãn hiệu cà phê Trung Nguyên, nước mắm Phú Quốc) gây mất không ít thời gian tiền bạc để đòi lại được nhãn hiệu của mình. Cũng có khi nhãn hiệu đó đã được một chủ thể khác đăng ký sử dụng tại một nước khác và khi thương nhân Việt mang hàng hóa, dịch vụ của mình gắn nhãn hiệu này vào thị trường quốc gia đó thì bị từ chối vì không được sử phép sử dụng nhãn hiệu này.

Xin nhấn mạnh rằng, việc bị đánh cắp nhãn hiệu tại nước ngoài không phải là may rủi mà đó là một nguy cơ, nguy cơ này sẽ rất cao nếu hoạt động kinh doanh của bạn đã phát triển mạnh mẽ, đã có một chỗ đứng khá vững chắc trên thị trường thì các đối thủ cạnh tranh khác cho dù không phải ở trong thị trường Việt Nam thì cũng luôn sẵn sàng sử dụng nhãn hiệu của bạn tại lãnh thổ của họ thay vì lựa chọn một nhãn hiệu mới không ai biết đến.

Để tránh khỏi tình trạng này, cách tốt nhất đó là việc thực hiện đăng ký nhãn hiệu tại nước ngoài. Tất nhiên, điều này không có nghĩa là đăng ký một cách ồ ạt tại nhiều nước, điều này sẽ gây tốn kém rất nhiều. Theo đó, các thương nhân cần phải xem xét các chiến lược kinh doanh của mình, các thị trường mà mình có khả năng tiếp cận trong tương lai để lựa chọn quốc gia nước ngoài cần thiết nhất cho việc đăng ký bảo hộ nhãn hiệu của mình tại quốc gia đó.

    LOLOLOLOL, but not reallly! People really can be so insensitive sometimes. Here are three of my (un)fave’s that rattled my eardrums when folks got the news:“Damn, you goin’ get fat as hell!”“Aawww, sh*t! So what y’all goin’ do?” Mind you, I was 26 when we had our first child!“Your nose is gonna get big, and you’re going to get hemorrhoids!” Thanks, Killjoy McGee!
