Chấm dứt thẩm định nội dung đơn đăng ký . Tất cả các đơn đăng ký sở hữu công nghiệp đều được Cục sở hữu trí tuệ xử lý theo những trình tự nhất định như sau: tiếp nhận đơn; thẩm định hình thức; công bố đơn hợp lệ; thẩm định nội dung(trừ đơn đăng ký thiết kế bố trí không cần tiến hành thủ tục thẩm định nội dung đơn); cấp hoặc từ chối cấp văn bằng bảo hộ; đăng bạ và công bố quyết định cấp văn bằng bảo hộ.

Trong những giai đoạn trên, việc thẩm định nội dung là một giai đoạn bắt buộc quan trọng nhằm đánh giá khả năng bảo hộ của các đối tượng được nêu trong đơn theo các điều kiện bảo hộ, xác định phạm vi bảo hộ tương ứng. Thời hạn thẩm định nội dung đơn đăng ký là 12 tháng đối với đơn đăng ký sáng chế kể từ ngày nhận được yêu cầu thẩm định nội dung(nếu yêu cầu đó được nộp sau ngày công bố đơn) hoặc kể từ ngày công bố đơn(nếu yêu cầu đó được nộp trước ngày công bố đơn); Đối với đơn đăng ký kiểu dáng công nghiệp, nhãn hiệu, chỉ dẫn địa lý thời hạn thẩm định là 06 tháng kể từ ngày công bố đơn. Nếu trong quá trình thẩm định nội dung, có sửa chữa, bổ sung tài liệu hoặc giải trình đơn thì thời hạn thẩm định nội dung được kéo dài thêm tương ứng với thời hạn dành cho người nộp đơn thực hiện công việc đó.

Việc chấm dứt thẩm định nội dung trước thời hạn được thực hiện trong các trường hợp sau đây:

 Đơn không thể hiện rõ bản chất của đối tượng: tức là không mô tả được đầy đủ những đặc điểm của đối tượng được nêu trong đơn, thiếu những thông tin cần thiết hoặc quá vắt tắt, tổng quát làm cho việc xác định đối tượng khó khăn hoặc không xác định được;

  • Những đối tượng được nêu trong đơn không được Nhà nước bảo hộ hoặc không phù hợp với loại văn bàng bảo hộ tương ứng;
  •  Có lý do chắc chắn khẳng định đối tượng không đáp ứng một hoặc một số điều kiện bảo hộ nhất định;
  •  Người nộp đơn không thực hiện yêu cầu sửa chữa thiếu sót, giải thích nội dung hoặc cung cấp các thông tin cần thiết theo yêu cầu của Cục sở hữu trí tuệ;
  • Người nộp đơn có yêu cầu chấm dứt việc thẩm định, tuyên bố rút hoặc từ bỏ.

I fell in love with the box art, the packaging case’s, ect, ect a corporate/exec would not care/understand what it means to be a gamer.
